The Mercedes-Benz E-Class received a facelift in 2021 and is available as completely knocked-down (CKD) locally assembled units in Malaysia. It goes against other luxury cars such as the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, and Volvo S90.

In terms of styling, the Mercedes-Benz E 200 has an Avantgarde exterior styling package which includes specially designed bumpers, front grille, and a set of 18-inch five-twin spoke light-alloy wheels. The Mercedes-Benz E 300 gets an AMG Line exterior styling package which includes more aggressive bumpers, a diamond pin front grille design, side skirt extensions, and 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Infotainment system
Like all other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the E-Class has the MBUX intelligent infotainment system. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display that can also be controlled by a touchpad on the center console. This system has an LTE communications module that allows drivers to use the Mercedes me connects services. Other features include wireless charging for mobile devices, USB charging ports in the rear, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, live traffic information, and a premium Burmester surround sound system.
Both variants of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels. In the E 200, the engine makes 197 PS of power from 5,500 to 6,100 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 1,650 to 4,400 rpm which enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. With its elegant style and fully-equipped interior, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class makes for a great luxury executive sedan. It is also priced well enough to compete with other luxury sedans in the market. For buyers who are looking for a powerful sedan with modern features and styling, the E-Class is a solid choice.
